Color theme for an Evening May wedding

Hi! I am having an evening wedding mid May, that incorporates a classic and formal theme. Can you suggest any colors for the bridemaid dresses? I was unsure since the wedding was in the spring whether to use pastel colors or darker colors for the evening. Any suggestions?

try a wine color or a nice red.. u still get color and it's not to bright for the evening
